Thanks to all the folks who helped make this happen.

I'm hoping that things will turn out well for me. If not, I will cry and probably firebomb Al's place

But I hope it won't come down to that.

I have about 2,200 miles on the car after having it for almost 2 weeks. I ordered oil but it's not here yet, so I guess one more road trip and I'll certainly be due for one.

Actually, it ended up coming with A/C standard. I don't know why, but it did.

yeah.....I saw a RS at the local autox 2 days a go.....talked to the owner and even he had no idea why he have the AC. He said the window sticker didn't list it as an option.....and the dealer didn't charge him any extra money for it.

his RS has no radio, pwr window or pwr door lock.....so I guess the AC is a "gift" from

btw.....I asked him did he test the AC...and he said it's real

A/C came standard, as well as factory prewiring for the stereo. They figure not enough hardcore people in America to buy a truly stripped RS!

Pruven can change the oil and filter while you are there - they stock it all

Also - I suggest you consider a Walboro fuel pump while you are at it - your choice - but if you want that its costs 200 installed and you have to be there by 1:00

Thanks, Al, but I'm afraid I'm going to have to decline both the oil change and the fuel pump for now. I'll be there at 3pm as we agreed earlier, if not earlier.
