Yeah - my HKS (twin disc) is very tricky to engage. Other than the engagement, it is great - oh yeah, and very loud

My HKS GD max is the smoothest clutch I have had. Is your installed correct? 1.67 60 foot

I thought you were using the HKS before the exedy. You have posts about how good it was.

Al, isn't you affraid of pop the ring out of the clutch.

Or did you have a trick to prevent this hapen to you. Sorry for the questions, but I use to have the cusco twin and the center ring of the clutch poped out two times.

I agree with you, but mine was on the car for more than a month when the center clip pop out. The car went to the track in several occations before pop the ring out. I think if the clip isn't installed right will pop out quickly. Thath is what I think but I can be wrong.

Engaging 1st gear is just ever so tricky - everything else is like budda (minus the loud chatter).

i love my ats tripple carbon, BUT.... you do NOT want to launch it like a normal clutch. it is sooooo grabby that you will destroy your trans and diff.

I love my triple ATS also, and I agree with Jerastan that it is grabby. It's pretty tricky to launch also. But when you get your launch right it works wonders.
