Guys - I tuned one of these bad boys finally this weekend in Ohio

All I can say is WOW !

This is THE turbo to get with pump gas

Spool up is identical to stock - no lag what so ever

Only differnce is it pulls at least 50 whp more with same a/f and timing settings at 20 psi - HOLDS the 20 psi to red line and it pulls straight through to red line

I tuned it on a car with no cams - just Stage 2 Buschur

Its one amazing turbo

IF you are running pump gas on a stock motor - THIS is THE turbo to get

 

Would you be able to do a mail-in of that combo?

 

al,could i beat up on those old dsm's with that turbo kit.got my *** kick by two of them on my ride home.now i'm forced to take action and buy a turbo!!!

That was me ! , the guy with the 440, i just want to say thanks man ,IT IS AWESOME!!!
guys , let me tell you , i got there friday morning from chicago driving "off boost"
because my car was running like sh.......
i had the wrong intake, put on buschurs intake, AL worked his magic, and man oh man! what a difference, i absolutely love the way the car feels now Al,you are the man.
i only have br 440. no cams , no ic (not yet), stock injectors, and the car runs great
you should give it a try, i really love it.

 

That's an idea I had, which is why I asked Al if he could do a mail-in version of the flash you got. I'm STG 2 w/o cams or FMIC which would mean a BuschurFlash STG 4 +BR440 would do me no good.

Can you do a mail-in version of the tune you gave this guy? It dosen't exactly follow Buschur's stages.

 

Sure - I can do that - just tell Buschur what you want when you place your order and enclose a actual list of mods with the ecu when you send it off

I believe this is Stage 2 Buschur with a walbro pump and the 44o turbo - I have that tune for 93 octane now

 

Any scans of this BR stage 2 with the 440?
Its still hard to beat BR isnt it?! Yummy!

Al- at what stage of tune would I need to upgrade injectors with the BR440 kit on 91 octane?

I currently only have 264 cams & a 3" exhaust? I probably would only run about 20 psi max.

You would prob be OK with the stock injectors at 20 psi - however - having the 660's could not hurt in the long run

 

So basically, an Evo with the BR stage 4, which makes almost 350WHP on pump gas, will be near 400WHP with the BR440 and a dynoflash?

400WHP on pump with near stock spool is my goal. This seems like the kit to get.

 

Yes it feels like 390 - 410 whp to me

and it si the ideal pump gas turbo - without a doubt it can get you all the power you can safely make on pump gas
