I would just like to ask everyone out there that is willing to sacrafice the time that has had work done by Al or Turbotrix to PM me their honest experience and satisfaction or lack thereof. As far as Al from Dynoflash goes, I feel bad that posts like this really can harm your business, that is why I am requesting PMs from members, no matter what the case is here I feel that you where attacked in a unfair manner and I think that this persons complaint should of been PM'd to you first and if the response was wrong their then they should have taken it public. Anyways all member help will be greatly appreciated as this is your perfect opp to truly look out for someone on the brink of a tuner decision.

About dynoflashing, I'm all confused now. It was one of the things I was considering, but maybe not now. However, Al can back up his claims with hard data. It seems the “unsatisfieds” have no hard data, where are their dyno sheets? Here’s where I get confused.
By the way, Am I wrong or did Al have one of (if not THE) fastest WRXs in the states before the Evolution 8 existed in the US?

Do you have anything at all to add to this discussion? So far your posts have been nothing but flames. We all know you're upset with Al, but posting on here over and over again, and starting new threads for the exact same discussion is not helping anyone.
I frequent quite a few DSM forums and they are looking at EvoM as a good place to see tuner vs. tuner wars; and not much else. I love this forum, but people like you just stand to degrade it into a useless p!ssing match.
If you have something to add to the discussion; do so. Otherwise be quiet and just read what others have to say.

TheMoo I have your mods minus the gauges. I got 330whp with Turbotrix Flash. Al cannot even get that figure in cars with Cams installed. I have had mine for 7k miles and am very happy. Plus at Turbotrix you have no unanswered questions or smoke and mirrors. Plus you don't have to deal with Al. No offense AL

Take it for what it is worth - the dyno sheet on the car he built is posted here and on the seperate thread in my section - the results speak for themselves. That is how I tune and it is what it is.

I dunno from personall experience all I can say are positive things. I've spoken with AL online and on the phone a couple times and he's been cool. Alot of southerners or west coasters may think he's brash etc but thats alot of people see N easterners. Hell I am military and before I got sent on a deployment AL volunteered to dynoflash me FOR FREE. Yeah he's a real ***. .. not that I've seen! Just my personal experience.

I encourage those following this honda like thread to look carefully at the dyno sheet of this guy's pal and ask yourself what is going on here

Al has admitted in the past that he is sometimes crude and rough. Anyone who does business with him should expect to see this.
As far as his tuning capabilities are concerned, there appear to be many satisfied customers to support his claims.
If you are claiming that Al is not delivering what he promises, post up proof.
From your posts, it is obvious that you had some preconceived notions about Al and that your posts are not as objective as you claim.

It's too bad that it takes someone with an experience like this to bring out all the rest. Too bad for the newcomers that would have went with another means if they had only known.
I had a pretty negative experience with Al and my Dynotrash. I had a flash done a few months ago. The car ever since has had a half throttle hardly excelerating hickup above 4000 RPM. I called to talk to him about it and ask if it would be worth paying him to do a custom tune at the shootout. He replyed that he was F****in tired, had just gotten off a plane and didn't have time to SELL me on his product. He used an analogy that a I was like a guy walking into a Ford dealership looking at a new GT and asking the salesman why I should buy it over the Enzo I was looking at. He then said that the salesman would tell me to go buy the F***ing Enzo if that's what I wanted because he didn't care. "I don't have time to sell you on my product buy it if you want if not who cares" . this is pretty much his answer. I was only wanting my car to drive and perform correctly, I was not price shopping or worried about the additional $200. Absolutely amazing business ethics!!!!!
I called up and talked to Shiv at Vishnu, paid him the $900 dollars for the Xede and he took one out of a shop car and next dayed it to me. He had me tell him my AFC numbers and AFR and he put some base maps in it. I plugged it in and drove down the road and Wha Laa no more hickup at 4000 RPM and up. He told me Al liked to try to make power by going real heavy on the timing and that he could just back the timing out a bit and it would be all better. And it was. Cheers to Shiv
