I was at XS engineering and I heard Al's conjecture with XRS and everything he posts(XRS) is spot on. Also witnessed the boost control excuse and the bad turbo excuses later that night when he street tuned a BR 500.FWIW I did not start these Al bashing posts but I will chime in and give my objective opinion on occasion. Al is a talking contradiction. He spewed words at me and Smog about the only reason he does these flashes and is in this business is to take money out of Shiv's pockets. He will do anything to screw Shiv. Man I would hope that his goal would be to make customers cars faster not to take business away from Shiv. So all his Shiv bias is conjecture at best and look at whatEvo8powa admitted to. Al put him up to the Shiv attacks and that is why I used to call him mini Al. Al is not about putting out the best product he is about putting out a marginal cheap alternative product that hopefully will satisfy some and take business away from Shiv and other tuners that he admittedly hates. Appears that he is still practicing law with his Dynotrash business. Lie,cheat,king of conjecture,brainwash the jury(evo owners)etc.Yeah, I want an Ex Lawyer to tune my car and i will believe all his contradictory statements. Fellas go back to when Works came out with their 1st flash Al bashed it pretty hard and gave reasons for the alternatives. If you read al of his posts from the past you will see a lot of contradictions. His name is Al as in (Al rob you and ***** Shiv and other competent tuners if you let me).

Point 1: Someone that uses proper punctuation and grammer when typing on the internet is completely not related to their intelligence level (I have seen this point proven over and over again)
Point 2: There are too many posts of speculation from the "keyboard coyboys" i.e. people that read "bad" and assume "bad" instead of one looking at numbers, riding in flashed cars, or even PM'ing those that have the product
IF you look at the numbers that Al is putting down (in customer's cars) you can't help but say "wow". Everyone is putting down respectable numbers on stock ECUs. Or should I say, putting down better numbers then w/o the flash.
Point 3: All those that are complaining about the flash typically are those that are looking for huge but pointless peak HP numbers so they can get "forum cred". Peak numbers mean nothing and a solid power band means everything. Just like all the Supra owners who make less HP then stock until 6k RPM then make 800hp...pretty stupid, if you ask me, to have an usless powerband.
Take this for what you will, but I will say all of the "followers" (that are a staple of large car forums) should hold opinions to themselves as opposed to voicing ignorance.

well after reading this post of 11 pages in 1 day (must be a record), it just goes to show how quickly people jump on a band wagon to bash somebody. For all your Vishnu customers (not bashing Vishnu at all) there are plenty of threads of people dissatisfied with them. Being in business for yourself and is EXTREMELY tough. There will ALWAYS be people who are dissatisfied and people who are happy. Each individuals experience with another can be completely different. As for me, I will tell you that I have found it better NOT to be tuned on a dyno day...just because of the stress level that it puts on the tuner alone. I have been tuned by AL over 3 times now and 2/3 were NOT at dyno days and Al spent between 2-3 hours tuning my car without extra cost. I know that AL can come off and sound really CONFIDENT, but the truth is he does know how to tune. If he couldnt, I am sure companies like BUSCHUR and AMS and PRUVEN would NOT support him, if they didnt think otherwise.
I am not bashing the thread starter, but as he stated everyone is entitled to their opinions, and this is mine.
I really just cant get over the fact about how the Al haters on this post are SOOO quick to respond. And the fact that the majority of the people who have responded (with the exception of guys) have low post counts. Just thought I would point that out
