This post has a little bit of good information in it.

If you would leave your emotions at the door when posting it would make things easier on us all. Threads would be much shorter and easier to understand.

I prefer to make up my own mind rather than let people sway my judgement. When you have a bunch of guys saying so many different things.. this becomes very hard to do.

I wasn't going to post at first but the more I read this thread the more it reminds me of the current presidential race.. just too much poop flying everywhere lol

My conclusion: it's hard to see when poop is everywhere!

But really.. threads like these are great if you have time to over look all the extra comments, emotions, etc..

Funniest thing about this thread is all the visunuites coming to bash on Al...

Don't you people have to go look at some "recalibrated" dyno numbers?

Oh, I just skip over those. You're right, those are pointless. If you ignore that crap then this thread is very helpful.

Just my unbiased two cents.

After Erik's flash the car would stall coming to a stop, that is common problem for cars with aftermarket intake, but it NEVER did it before the flash..

When Erik brought it to Al's attention, all Blammed Erik's driving, the intake, the cams, everything in the book.. He proceded to do pulls int he parking lot and couldnt re create the problem he hoped out of the car and said "bro it is your driving" Erik got in and drove came to a stop and it stalled.. All the pruven guys were like "AL stop making excues's just raise the idle", Al made another host of excuses then finally just raised the idle which solved the problem..

Not a huge driveability issue that wasnt easily fixed, but he can never own up to anything, he just makes random excuses when the problem is blatently obvious..

Not Knocking all or nothing, I got my car Tuned the first time at turbo trix. My car made only 313whp and 310tq. I was dissapointed at those figures. I talk to several people and they said that it was kind of low for the mods I hade on the car. In all honesty the car did feel like a beast though. I put some 100 octane in the car and the next day while going to the track in LI I met up with a M5 on the highway. I murdered the car, come to find out when I went back to turbo trix those numbers were uncorrected. The car made about 327whp. I was sold. I put an Hks racing suction on the car took it back for a retune and made about 341whp and 327tq I was sold. I also had some concerns about the fuel ratio and Junior quickly put that to rest. I love those guys over there! They let their work speak for them.

<sighs> Yes, that was a very funny and witty comment. Very insightful and relevant to discussion. You should consider a career as a stand-up comic.

Every c16 tune i ever had was on 2.5 gal of c16..
I have no interest in meeting you at all - unless you want to race me

I have lots of tuning experience with all sorts of fuels including C-16 and VP Import and have nothing to prove to you or anyone else

You miss my point on why I put in the fuel and turned up the boost and you do not understand that the additional load caused the ecu to run in a lower row on the fuel map making it SIGNIFICANTLY leaner

2.5 gals of C-16 is not going to effect the a/f ratio to that degree

Awsome thread hahaha! as a newb or anyone considering any mod, this forum is one of the most best ways to get info on parts and services related to our cars. I feel it is my job to read everything related to the product I want.

Al's entire sordid past and rise to "tuner" status is well documented here on this site albeit with several aliases (long b4 I had an EVO and read this forum). It's beyond me why anyone would take thier car to this dude after reading it all. My guess is most people havn't. Read all posts... check for consistancy.

At least WRX dude can spell and put together a coherent sentance, that goes a long way for credibility.

That being said, personally having never met him I'll admit I'd probably get along with him if he likes cars... I just wouldn't give him my $ or car.

seriously. Just skip the ones full of junk and read the facts.

If you ask anyone who has spoken with al they will tell you he is a very immature, and rude person who will never admit to anything being his fault. Instead he blames you, the car, the weather, your pet and god but never himself. Al always bashed other tuners and products. How often do you see works come on the forums and say "dynotash is just that, trash" or even when u see the works guys in person. Do they always talk trash about other tuners? No. Now im not saying i think works p2 is great. I personally dont like the price they have for a their baseflash but thats just me. What i am commending them for is their maturity and the fact that they dont go around bashing all their competition. Their customers are mostly happy and if they do have problems works will always help out instead of blaming something for their mistake and telling the customer to f***-off.

For our custom tune customers who come to a dyno day - as in this case - they get a dyno sheet on the spot - the before and after numbers are shown and the customer can decide if he / she is satisfied or not

Our # priority is satey margin and reliability and there are no reported engine issues with our product

Of course it is difficult to have an inteligent conversation about driveability issues with this type of mob attack posse which seems to follow from the Vishnu crew
