This is with 9.8 VIII turbo. ECU boost control with GM 3-port. (Dynoed about a month ago at 362tq/342hp on a mustang. I switched to a metal intake since then, which looks to provide ~0.5-1 psi higher than the rubber one from ~5000rpm and up, therefore increasing top-end power a bit...)

Edit: Timing is scaled as timing plus 10. (To move the graph higher, so that its easier to read for me, i did it back when i had neg timing at spool-up, DLL does not show neg values)):

mplspilot,

your log doesn't match the timing map you posted.

15* at 4k and 32*+ at 7k?

EDIT: nevermind I looked at the Value on the left and saw the scaling was different on timing.

Yeah, sorry, scaling is actual timing plus 10. Just easier to read it on the graph that way

It's in the middle picture, marked JDMMAP. I hit 30 psi on spool-up and it starts going down after 4500 rpm even though my WG duty is at 100% from there till redline. And by the redline it falls to ~21. I can crank boost even higher, i just wouldn't know what to do with all this tq it's freaking massive with this tiny turbo

After switching to ethanol, I found that I needed to add in about 3-4 degrees to my timing map just to keep from misfiring. The extra fuel volume was too much at the miniscule timing I was having to run on pump gas. After I added the timing in, the car pulled clean and I was able to add an additional 5-6 degrees in most areas.

You should try high 11's, like 11.8
