10 % ethanol fuel

on my drive to hunter mountain i noticed sunoco has 10% ethanol fuel. i have a full tank of this stuff and am not tuned for anything like that...is it safe to drive on since that was the only stations i found en route? its rated 93 octane which is what i use anyway but it stated has 10% ETHANOL
just wondering

I stopped going to a station here that converted to 91 with 10% in it. It's the same price as normal 91, which is BS since you'll actually get less mileage from it. If it was 93, then I'd consider it but I just get normal 92 from BP (highest I see around here).

The 10% Ethanol is actually a good thing if you want a little extra power. I can run more timing with 91+10% Ethanol than I can using BP 92 without Ethanol.

Even running the stock tune the 91+10% was much more knock resistant than the 92.

I think most gas staions in CA at least have a max of 10% ethanol in their gas by law to replace the MTBE additive.

yea, you can make more power with ethanol considering e85, which is 85% ethanol, depending on the seasonal mix has an octane rating of 105-110

ROFL Jersey drivers. They don't know most of the 93oct in the country has ethanol in it cause they don't pump there own gas. HA
