I drive an hour and a half to get e85 every sunday and ill still never ever go back to pump. E85 has to be one of the best mods you can do.

Congrats on the switch over.

I can't get over the price differences from one state to the next though. We've been at a $1.89/gal for some time (E85). South Dakota is good for one thing I guess.

Its because he is in the corn belt where the majority of the Ethanol plants that produce E-85 are located. Their transportation costs are basically 0 so the cost comes down dramatically. That and I am pretty sure there are state laws that regulate ethanol prices in those corn producing states, they want to make it as readily available as possible.

I agree, E85 is just awesome. I make more power on E85 than on Q16. You have to invest in some nice injectors but hell, you can make huge power all day long.

If you dont already have some ID or FIC high impedence injectors get some. They are just awesome.

E85 in socal is 2.59 a gallon right now.

i am going to do the switch also BUT my only question is; did you empty the gas tank completle (drain it) or you can mix e85 with regular gasoline??? cause i am thinking of putting a switch for both maps e85 and 93 octane.
