Ethanol production/steam powered battery charging and misc projects finally under way

No updates for a while how is everything going. I have been contemplating doing something similar for some time. ever since I lived down in brazil where they have e100 at the pump. then I read/heard about this-http: //www.microfueler.com -their pricing and the fine print turned me off. and i thought there has to be a cheaper way to do this. Although the simplicity of their system is cool. Also why corn when another fuel like sugarbeets or something would not require the enzyme to turn the starch into sugars.

It's going well actually. I've run the new set up a few times now. I had my best yield to date last night, just shy of 8 gallons from about 45 gallons of wash. That's very good for me.
Corn is easy to handle, pick, process. Sugar beats are not for a home operation. I'm using sugar which is simplest.

Here's the operation as it stood last night. I changed it again today, still experimenting.

That is so awesome. So do you run this as is plus a little gas, or do you use zoelite or whatever it is to make E100 then mix with gas? Also how hard are the starts in winter with a
E98 tune?

I'd say starting wouldn't be any more difficult than an e85 tune. I had problems with it until I bumped up the cranking enrichment quite a bit. It gets cold in the winter here in the Midwest. I'd just add more fuel for it and play around with it. Granted I've never had e98 but I don't believe it could be too much different.

I can store the fuel on my property pure as it comes out of the still. To transport it I have to denature it, so I'd add gas. I'd add just enough to meet the legal standards. E98 starts hard in the winter but a lot of that is the tuning and engine management type. My car starts pretty good. Even the OE's have warnings on their flex fuel vehicles about hard starts in the winter on E85, my new Tundra does.
