I would suggest going bigger. I hate buying the same part twice.

that's what I figured. no big deal, once I decide to make the jump over to e85 I'll buy new injectors and possibly a new pump for peace of mind

i was originally going to go with pte 1000cc injectors but after extensive research and lots of talking to companies like ams, buschur, awd motorsports, mgw, pte, di, fp, jestr, cft, mellon, etc they all said the same thing 1200cc will safely get the job done and then some while 1000cc will max out very quickly (faster than 1200cc) they will get the job done but to a certain hp mark, they also might rob you of extra power that you couldve made if you were on the 1200's. hope this helps

Pros= safer, more power

Cons= Crap MPG, random missfire code, cold starts suck and if they change the gas mix in the winter you need a re-tune or like me run like crap lol.

with that said I'm still on E-85 and I'm not changing back...

warm starts should just work if injector scaling and latency values are good. cold starts additionally require adjusting the startup fuelling tables. in my experience, hard warm starts is predominantly an injector issue that requires replacing the injectors. tuning can help a bit but not get rid of it entirely. the only exception i can think of would be a set of injectors that were not properly dialed in the first place.

Give us a shout when you are ready to go that route. We've got a 1300cc high-impedance injector and our new in-tank fuel pump is a drop-in affair for the Evo 8/9 fuel pump assemblies.

I think there is an e85 meter of some sort out on the market. I saw it in a vendors website... Well i think they might not be a vendor anymore
