So I have a Tomei Arms M7960 that needs to be rebuilt but I am thinking of just upgrading and getting another turbo. What turbo do you guys recommend that's cheap but good for an Evo 8 that can yield me 450-500 WHP on E85? Under 1k?

 

I have a kinagawa with 11.5 hotside 3.25 anti surg housing bullit wheel ported and polished on e85 I'm making 486

I also have a Kinugawa 25g turbo. I have the 3.25" anti-surge compressor housing with a 60-1 billet wheel and 10.5 hotside. I am running wastegate pressure,which is 25psi, and I am on a small fuel set up (1050cc's and a 255lph pump). I made 461awhp and 372lb tq.

It spools at 4200 and PULLS all the way to 7800

 

When does it start to make boost?

 

Wonder how long the Kinagawa can last? :\

 

I've had mine now for over 4 months.
I dd the car and has not had any issues.
I don't beat the car but I do use it power often.
I love how the car drives and how it pushes me into the seat.
Better then it ever was.
Next week or next week after that back to jay at boosted tuning in chico ca....omni 4 bar, map o2 pipe w/ external WG & balkin high flow cat & walbro 450 lph for E85....I'm hoping for over 500.
