9 turbo + E85... 800cc injectors enough?

800cc injectors... how much power can they make on e85 stock 9 turbo?

originally i was planning on just a pump gas with stock evo 9 turbo tune for my car once i get my bolt on's since there closest e85 station is 20 min away but im having second thoughts. I already have the 800cc injectors cleaned and flow tested ready to go...

My general rule for injectors is cc/2 = pump gas whp. (91. 93 does considerably better). E85 usually requires 30% more. Personally, I'd expect up to 400whp on 91( with supporting mods and a large turbo). That would be about 300whp on e85. These numbers would put you around 80% duty cycle.
You can be more aggressive, of course. I BEAT on my cars, so I ask my tuner to take it easy.
I currently have 1450s and make about 360 on pump (limited by turbo size) and 450ish on e85, (also limited by turbo size), which is really close to my (cc/2)*.70 formula.
Sorry for the long reply LOL

To take advantage of e85, you needed much larger injectors because it burns a lot more. 1050s should allow you to (safely) max out that stock turbo.

All just my opinion, of course.

**edit: speaking of fuel pumps, the Walbro 255 flows surprisingly well. my numbers are on a single 255. i plan to do the "relief valve mod" as a bit of insurance. i don't push my car to the max very often, though.

950cc is the smallest injector you can realistically go with on a stock 9 turbo and E85. At 25psi peak and 22 out the top my IDC was around 90%. That was with an aeromotive stealth pump and it was around 350whp on stock cams.

Honestly 1050cc will take you to 400whp when pushed with an adequate fuel pump.

+1. 800 cc/min not enough if you plan to max out the turbo.
