Question XML Def files

i may have just missed this, but is there anywhere that we can download XML definition files as they are created. I am trying to work on my father's 05 auto legacy gt as well as a friends 04 STi and there werent any editing parameters available to me.

obviously its a work in progress but if someone either has the files or can post a link it would be great.

Check out XMLWRITE on openecu.org. There is a new version that converts some published map address info along with the builtin info in the ROMs themselves to get a head start on the definitions. I haven't even had a chance to try the new version yet - so busy!

They are ment for the WRX and STI, but it helps see where the theory and definitions come from.

Actually i've found an XMLWrite application by Prime Logics (www.primelogics.com) its free and its windows based XML editing, it looks simple enough, although my knowledge of XML is null, you can actually see where to put the tables, and how its all arranged, table definitions, as far as variables go, columns and rows, etc, i know its not the same XMLwrite we're talking about here since that is a little program that can help you build your ECU file, but still i found it usefull.
