I dont have it in front of me, but the 340 map looked similar to the JDM GSR map with the early high advance like the RS. It was almost an RS map. I have it on my lappy still I think, I will post it later tonight.

That would be great Aaron.

Ralph, I found spool up was earlier. On 98 RON (like 92-93 PON I gather) at 24-25 PSI it was hitting 1603 Hz up to 1000 RPM earlier than what you have posted in a high gear with stock airbox/lid removed.

Try this map, it gave me a very flat torque curve and very early.

Maybe because of the higher boost you'll hit it sooner? I'm probably only running 22~psi. It seems my gauge sits at "1"psi when car is off.. damn autometer. Time for a new gauge .

Let me ask this to someone whose running 23~psi or 24. What load cell are you in at these boost levels? And at what rpm :O

This power curve:

Name: Dyno3.png

Size: 206.0 KB

With this map:

This is the map like three or 4 generations ago now, but it still works really well. I have been working on flattening out the torque curve (ridding the dip at 3900). For the record it made peak torque at 3200 and peak power at 7054. Notice how power tapers at peak and then flattens out. Not my car BTW.

Power numbers and name removed.

What kind of mods were on that car and would it be ok to try that map on 91 ? So far I have a couple mivec maps/tunes that I'll be testing at the track in a few weeks to see which works out better for me..

I think the only way to fine tune MIVEC is going to be on a chassis dyno.

For wide open throttle, which is only really what bothers me for MIVEC tuning, then tarmac based datalogging of acceleration can be very useful and you can see clear differences between GSR and RS maps. I'm not really bothered about holding it at each RPM zone with unrealistic loads for ignition timing either as it tends to produce overly retarded maps. It is nice to sit on a chassis dyno and do whatever testing you want without the constraints of the law and traffic though

Highlight the window you want to screenshot, hold alt and then press print screen - this should be above your home/end/insert keys.. nothing will happen.

Then click the windows start button, click run, type in mspaint. When this opens click on edit then click paste. After this you'll want to Save As use extension .JPEG or .JPG... save it to somewhere on your computer. Someplace like your Desktop

Now if you don't have a photobucket account, make one. www.photobucket.com
After this is done you can upload pictures to the account, its very simple.. Then after uploading a picture you have links to the pictures. Copy the one that begins with [ IMG ] but without spaces..

Begin a post on evolutionM and copy that code in wherever you want the picture to be inserted..

Good luck

You dont have to host your pic on a 3rd party server, you can host in on EvoM.net.

The maps I've saw hosted on here come out very small.. can't read load cells when the colors are dark.

Check page 1 for the RS MIVEC map.. hard to read
