Not that I'm qualified to be saying this, but what the hey, I will anyways...
I would think that if you just throw the JDM IX MAP sensor in there that it's gonna throw some kind of code and you'll get an SES light. Won't the ECU see an unexpected reading/voltage from the MAP sensor and freak out? I kinda home I'm wrong though.
Maybe it'll just keep humming right along and just report the higher value, who knows.
