HOW TO - Control boost using ECUFLash and the stock boost solenoid
I LIKE the Gm setup better, but for the kid I did this for, I didn't want him to be able to overboost and blow his motor because he decided he wanted more boost.

No. Zero out error correction. Tune boost curve via duty cycle. Log 2 byte load. Set BDEL table + BCLO to match logged load per RPM, turn back on error correction. Fine tune.

Do you happen to know the size of the boost pill that is near the solenoid? I am putting my car back to stock and can't find my stock lines. I'm just gonna make new pills on my lathe but need to know the size.
I figure I would use #56 for the pill near the turbo outlet.

I bought a new set of stock lines for my Evo5. The Mitsubishi dealer had to get them in from Japan. The interesting thing is that there was no restrictor pill in the line that goes to the solenoid. It has got the restrictor pill that goes in the line by the T near the turbo.
It would be really good if someone could find out the size of the stock restrictor that fits near the solenoid as it may not be included in the stock replacement parts, as I found out.

Plus I have bits of spare aluminum rod and I have my own lathe.

Why do that? I already have tons of boost lines lying around, and a bunch of vacuum tees. It's all stuff I accumulated over the course of owning the car and having different setups.

Anyways, what new car you gettin, or you just going back to stock for fun?
Or is it 6 one way and half a dozen the other?
MrFred has a full write up in the EcuFlash section.
Following this thread's pill replacement procedure, I am only hitting ~15 PSI peak. I installed a #58 pill in the line between the turbo and Tee and removed the pill at the solenoid since I'm implementing the new ECU direct boost control ECUFlash mods. I have zeroed out my BEC table just to see what the car did - would this be the cause of the low boost? If I start adding values into the BEC table, should I expect the car to actually hit my target boost or do I also need to add more aggressive MWGDC values? Here is what I currently have programmed:
