how are you switching the log to com 1? if i change the block on the devices to anything other then FTDI FT232, the program wont log any info. ... is there something else i am missing ?

I would try to get info right from the WB before trying to get evoscan to work with it. When you go to device manager and click on ports what do you see there? Your adapter will only show up when it's plugged in. I had a problem with a borrowed usb adapter also and a new one fixed the problem for me.

yeah... i just bought a new one from the link razorlab posted.... those guys seem pretty smart and have offered to help if theirs doesnt work. so we will see, i will post on here if it does work for sure
