ECUFlash / Evoscan / Mitsulogger Questions
Hi, i am new to ecu flash , can any body clear this thing out
a value of 5 in the hi octane ignition table represents spark is being fired 5 degree BTDC ?
a value of 0 in the same table represents ?
a value of -10 in the same table represents ?
or +ve is just taken as advance and -ve is just taken as retarded timing ?

First off let me apologize for the crappy cell phone pic of my computer screen. I did the log on my way to work and they're wifi ***** here so I took this pic of my laptop at lunch and I'm on my phone posting this. I thought WWMD... What Would MacGyver Do. Anyway, my afr map calls for 14.7 and my wideband shows roughly 15.2 when I play back the datalog. How can I rescaled the vertical axis of the graph so my afr numbers match the number on the graph axis?
I need help, I had EvoScan and ECUflash on my old laptop (windows 7) it crashed and I bought a new laptop currently running windows 8. I was able to download EvoScan but when I try and download ECUflash it downloads, and I click on the installer, it goes through its thing to get the drivers and everything working. But when it's done I click on ECUflash and nothing happens. It downloads correctly and all of the files seem to be there. I just can't launch it. Could this possibly be a windows 8 thing? If someone has experienced this please point me in the right direction. I've tried deleting it and reinstalling but still the same thing happens.
Is it normal, that on my 2004 EU VIII i cannot read ACD faults and also im not able to bleed air? I bought cable mainly for this

Limitless 1.3U cable with removed pin9. Tried MTUIII and OBD2 option.

so i have been having issue with getting my launch maps to activate. My set up is not you typical set up due to the car. so i have a 2003 eclipse gs-t and i am running v7 on the eclipses ecu. rom is 96530706.
now my suspicion is that the launch maps activate with a combo of flooring the throttle and holding the clutch at the same time. i have not been able to verify the exact pins for the clutch from a evo harness/ecu to the eclipses. However could there be any other reason for this feature to not work? before anyone asks yes i do have it enabled in the options.

you are correct and i am not so smart. so i tried it again and it will not hold it at the stationary rev limit. i set it to 5k to test and it feels like it starts to hold it then it bounces maybe two-three times and then jumps up to the cars rev limit.
I have added 2 byte load to my rom's xml file but i dont see any option in Mitsulogger Log reference for 2byte load, RPM.
What codes should i need to add to mitsulogger xml for 2 byte load and rpm?

Ok I dont know if this has been asked before but, I have evoscan 2.9 and log load using 1byte and it seems when I exceed 300is load it starts over for example if I run a log and bring the car up I will see in my log a steady rise as boost increases but once it hits 300 load the next number will be 8 or 30 and then climb from there to around 100 depending on the boost I'm running. how can I get this to work right? I know that when I see 30 at that point in time its really 330. how can I correct this.
If I get 1.3r or 1.3U cable and ecoflash can I just edit speed limitor cut on my Aust JDM evo 7gta? aswell as raise boost cut slightly,paise octane level and with not to many difficulties or do I have to do a total reflash once edited those things or it just possible to edit...I am fairly new to this side of things so an input or help would be greatly appreciated
