I can't find exact info, so does someone know if the newest evoscan can NOT be used with an old 1.3M cable? I see on their site is says you can use the 1.3U cable, but not that you CAN'T use other cables. When I try to connect is says there is a problem with the cable. I guess it's time to upgrade if I can't use my old one....

 

how can i replace my maf sensor with a gm 3 bar map sensor, what should i do to calibrate my map sensor?

 

No matter what ecu I select or how I change settings I get "No Response from ECU"? Tried 2.9 gave me a code "C34E0" ,then tried 2.8 and got no response from ECU. I've seen a number of other people on here ask the same question and it seems to be ignored?

Searched ad skimmed through the first 11 pages and my brain hurts, so excuse me if i missed this but...

I was curious how the definitions or XMLs were generated, so i grabbed a map i'll never use and tried the "use wizard to create a new definition (NOT RECOMMENDED!!! FOR DEVELOPERS ONLY)" option when the Unknown ROM Image window popped up because i didnt have the XML for a particular ROM.

Realized quick it was not for me and went among my business. Now, i need to load a Tephra Mod map (the one i thought i'd never need) into a friends car and the ROM has nothing but basic info. I've uninstalled and reinstalled ECUFlash a few times now and it still does the same. No "Unknown ROM Image" window pops up anymore.



Any help appreciated.

WHats up guys. I'm having some issues hopefully someone can help me with.

1) When using evoscan 2.90019 with a sewell serial to usb adapter and LM-1 wideband, evoscan shows a constant "0". I've made sure the lm-1 tab has been selected. And attempted to uninstall and reinstall the program to no avail.

2)I've also updated Evoscan to version 2.90029 but that update just renders the program unusable all together. There's an application error that states: "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000005). Click OK to close the application."

 

Quick question, I just got my Tactrix 2.0 cable and tried reading the ecu using V1.42 but the read/write icons aren't clickable.
Tried it with V1.43 and it works...Isn't the 2.0 cable compatible with V1.42?

 

I'm having the same issue. Between the two of them I have a working program. =)

 

I tried out the very latest version of EvoScan earlier today and it has problems keeping items in order of where I place them. I believe it is version 2.9.0021

 

What cable should be best as I have Evo 8 AND Subaru STI 2002 JDM? Pin 9?

Anyone know how to disable DTC P0011. I know there are threads on this,but havent seen an exact answer. I know its not a code you want to simply disable but until i have the time to take my cams out again, i dont want to not see any other DTC's that may pop up.

I'm trying to log LTFT on my evo 8 but I'm only seeing 0 on all of them. Just STFT is moving slightly.
Do I need to remove the battery for a while to reset all this and then be able to see LTFT or am I missing something ? I'm using evoscan 2.9 with Zeitronix ZT2

 

disconnecting the abttery will reset all fuel trims and should allow you to start logging.
