Re-download the ROM/XML package from the V7 thread and put the XML back in your ECUflash directory.

I installed evoscan and ecuflash. I was able to flash the car however when starting Ecuflash it states error loading FTD2xx.DLL. Also, when I try to datalog on evoscan it says that FTDI USB driver are not installed.

It said to look for ftD2XX.DLL in windows/system32 folder. I was unable to locate the ftd2xx.dll there.

Suggestions?

My EcuFlash has given me that very error message for the two years I've been using it. I've been ignoring it all this time. I suggest you do too.

You can copy the dll from the Ecuflash folder and paste it in the Windows Sytem32 folder.

Find it here; C:/Programfiles/OpenECU/EcuFlash/drivers/openport 1.3/i386

If you have Windows7 it will be in the Programfiles(x86) directory.

If using Windows7 you will also need to copy the dll into the C:/Windows/sysWOW64 folder

Will this type of cable work for datalogging?

Amazon Amazon

I got it and I am having some problems. Getting: Error: OpenPort2 USB Cable Not Responding.

I have tried installing the Latest 2.9 Evoscan along with ECUFlash 1.42

I have tried several combinations of 2.9, 2.7 Evoscan and ECUFlash 1.42 or 1.43 in different orders and I get the same error message.

The PC does detect the cable and I am able to select the driver to install as the one that gets installed with ECUFlash each time.

I don't think it would be compatible with Evoscan or Ecuflash.

If you bought the blue tooth OBD2 scan tool it should have it's own software.

As far as I know you would need the Openport to have Evoscan and/or Ecuflash work. I could be wrong though, have no experience with anything other than openport.

I believe the openport cables are serialized and that serial number is what the programs look for before connecting.

Can someone post a link of an openport cable that is confirmed to be working? I am not looking to reflash or make any changes. Just do simple data logging for now.

Boosting 1 bar only....waste gate pressure.

My tuner tried tuning my car yesterday after I installed a GReddy O2 Housing, and it's only boosting 1 bar.Even on the high boost map.Boost only comes in at 4000 rpm.

Things we have checked so far:

1. Turbo waste gate is closed.
2. Boost controller is not faulty.
3. BOV is fine.

I can only think it could be a major bost leak,I will have it tested tomorrow.

If It's not that then I don't know...need help urgently.

Not sure If i posted this in the right section.

Is that greddy a o2 dump or just the housing? You can try a smoke test. Unless for some reason you boost controller didnt get hooked back uo the right way.

That's the whole housing. We tried another boost cotroller and re-connected mine back up correctly.

When i left the shop today the car was smoking white smoke.I guess the turbo is gone....
