EvoScan 2.9 works fine, but I had to change to MUTIII & set the baud rate to 62500. Searched for but can't find a way or need to set the same under ECUFlash. ECU is not locked. I can use EVOScan to read/verify ECU flash. Win7 control panel says 1.3 cable is working fine. Tried re-installing ECUFlash to no avail. Any suggestions?
I'm stumped. I've tried the 1.29 driver for the 1.3 cable, 1.29 ECUFlash, disabling the serial port driver, all to no avail. I've verified the battery voltage, tried with the car running and off, and verified the wiring of pin 26 to pin 79. If ECUFlash is open and I plug and unplug the serial cale for the 1.3 cable, it correctly detects its presence or absence with the notice in the lower right.

EVOScan reads the ROM and can verify the read file matches the contents of the ROM. However, that's only with the baud rate set at 62500 (I modified the ECU's rate to 62500 for faster logging and it works great). If I set the baud rate to anything other than 62500, EVOScan fails to read the ROM. This leads me to believe that I need to change the baud rate within ECUFlash. However, I cannot find any way to do that.

Is there a way to change ECUFlash's communication baud rate? I tried the serial shadow of the driver in the control panel, but there's no match to 62500. I set it to the closest value (57xxx) but as expected, that didn't help.

Is there a trick to getting EvoScan 2.9 to read DTC's?

It seems like it works on all my friends laptops, but every time i try it i just get a ECU communication error. (not exactly sure what is says of the top of my head)

when using EvoScan, in the "items to data log" list, if i click on the "clear EFI diagnostic codes" it will clear the code, but i cant display it to actually see what the issue is.

Ive got a Dell E6410 on Windows XP.

what in the crap am i doing wrong?

Try scan tech for DTC's that's what I've just had to do.

Is there any date for a 2.9.0020 version with the injector scaling fix? Need to log load.

ECUFLASH:
I don't know how to delete a wrong table that I created, I was trying to relocate one but I instead created another and I cannot remove it.

Is there a way to delete a map/table?

Hello, I just began the process of remote tuning.

I sent my current ROM off, and just got a bin file base map tune for speed density back.

When I go to open it in ECUFlash I get an error stating: "Unknown ROM Image"

What is there I can do?

Along with the base map, I also recieved the Tephra V7 mod (xml file). I placed it exactly where instructed to.
My question is, do I have to modify something to do with the TephraMod before ECUFlash will accept the SD base map?

Thanks for any help!

you can download the missing xml files from www.evoscan.com/roms/mitsubishi and place them in the ecuflash folder. then it will work.

Hey everyone, I'm getting really frustrated here. I'm trying to scan my DTC codes. I have a tactrix 2.0 cable, the latest evoscan/ecuflash, 2004 Evo RS. I tried to fiddle with the settings, but I always get "No response from vehicle ECU". Last time I tried to fiddle with it, I hit "clear DTCs" to see if that worked, and it did. I also tried scantech, and it won't even initialize.

Info: OpenPort 2.0 Found.
Info: OpenPort Firmware v1.11.329
Info: Battery 12.286V
Info: Initialize Vehicle ECU...
Info: OBDII Connecting...
Info: Initializing At 5 baud...
Info: Initialization Complete...
Info: Waiting for vehicle ecu...
Info: Connecting...
Info: OpenPort 2.0 Found.
Info: OpenPort Firmware v1.11.329
Info: Battery 12.308V
Info: Initialize Vehicle ECU...
Info: OBDII Connecting...
Info: Initializing At 5 baud...
Info: Initialization Complete...
Info: No Response from Vehicle ECU
Info: Check DTCs Complete.
My original problem is that I had a rough idle. It would go full lean and sound like it's about to stall, then rev up to 1200rpm and go full rich, and bounce back and forth.

Anyways, any help would be appreciated.

Little update from above. Did a boost leak check, and found all kinds of leaks. I was procrastinating about doing it, but now wish I did it earlier. Anyways, fixed those leaks, and I found when I set evoscan to MUTIII, everything work except for DTCs. I just can't read those with any program so far it seems. I tried a generic handheld reader, and it just displays "ERROR".
