LMA-3 accuracy depends on what you want to measure.

The MAP sensor is very good. The five aux inputs can also be individually 5V calibrated, which can give very good external sensor readings.

The accelerometers are good for micro machined units, but an ARMS module it is not.

Honestly, RPM input is only OK. There is no hardware hysterisis, so it doesn't handle noisy ignition system pickoffs as well as the later designs (DL-32, SSI-4). A clean signal is no problem, but the newer units handle coil and inductive pickoffs better.

Similiarly, the thermocouple input is also only OK. There is no offset on the amplifier, so temps below cold junction cannot be measured. If you need really good temperature readings, the TC-4 is the way to go. It can go quite a ways below cold junction and is a very linear amplifier.

The XD-16 can be configured to display any channel in an MTS chain.

I just went out and tested my LM-1 with Logworks and the new ECUflash plugin and it worked perfectly. This is going to make my life so easy tonight when I go out tuning, I can't wait. Innovate really stepped up big time to provide this software for us.
