If he did it that way, how long would it be before some dick created a keygen for it?

The guy with PM you a link, all you have to do is pm him with your paypal account address. he confirms your a user, finds your serial #, then responds with a link & your serial.

But keep in mind he is in the middle of a new release, along with fixing the bugs he is dealing with 100s of people with a walmart mindset bugging the crap out of him while he trys to catch up.

If your resume is turely as diverse as you say, then you understand the logicistics invovled in creating this program, and creating a safe, secure method of distribution.

look, I don't write code, I'm not a software developer.... but I am a tuner. I have purchased all kinds of programs, and I assure you... I have never had this kind of low rent problem. all he has to do is auto generate a simple email with all you purchase info and a link to the download. what happens if I loose my HD and need to download again? I mean come on...... if this method worked, we would not be discussing why it doesn't. its common sense.

You should download the program and burn it to a disk and put the disk in a safe location. Problem solved.

you guys are killing me. I actually back my HD's up using norton ghost, but I shouldn't have to hound somebody to get what I purchased. it does not matter, I payed for it...... I cannot help what some other chode does with the program.

look, I appreciate what this guy is doing, but just because he is doing a service to us, does not mean we all have to be nutswingers and accept this kind of customer service.

I don't think anybody can argue that there is a better easier way to do this guys. like I said, if this method works, then why is it that its been several days and still downloadable link? I know, I know he is right in the middle of a new release..... obviously, when he's busy it shows the cracks in this system, hence why we are discussing the obvious.

I think everyone needs to lay off of iTune. I don't know him but it's easy for everyone who has EvoScan already to say "oh, it's ok, just wait".

It's not ok that he paid money and didn't get his product. I've talked to Evo4Mad quite a bit and he's a stand up guy so it was probably just a glitch in the website.

How would you feel if you walked into a parts store, paid for some spark plugs, and the cashier says..."um, you can have them in 2 days"...but you can clearly see them on the shelf.

Let's ALL just take a deep breath

ok....i finally got an email back from evo4mad. I really appreciate his response.

Now that i got everything Downloaded, i went to start logging and getting familiar with this software.

A few bugs i have noticed besides the ones already listed since the release:
The DTC scan tool is not working properly, i am getting random codes pulled from the ECU when the only code stored is P0420(as varified by a normal handheld scan tool). When i tried to clear the DTC's, it does nothing. Then, if i rescan with evoscan, it throws a different DTC, then if i do it again without clearing, it says there are non stored. Its very random and i get all kinds of different DTC's each time i do it. This is a obvious bug. HAve any of you guys gotten the scan tool to work properly?

What settings are you using? I am trying to use it(have been all day) but cannot connect. I selected the tactrix cable from the pull down menu and selected "slow" in the sequence menu, but still won't connect. Also, it makes me select a port for the tactrix cable too.....any ideas?
