Reading stock rom, confused in how to proceed

So, i followed all the steps mentioned in the "how to flash your evo" video. But, when the programs ends reading the rom, a dialog box pops up saying "the operation completed succesfully. if you're done with your ecu, turn the ignition off", then i turn key to off position, press ok (just how it's done in the video), and a new dialog box pops. Now here is where i'm stuck. In the video this box never pops up. Need some help with this.
Here's a screen shot.

Thanks.
BTW, this is for a friends EVO IX.

ecuflash doesn't have a definition for your ecu id.

find out and put it into ecuflash - then reload the ROM..

yes, in first instance we'll do it by ourself. Maybe in the future we'll send the rom to a tuner to get a mail flash. But right now i'm triying to read the rom and save it to my laptop.
So, wich option should i pick in the above picture menu???
Thanks for the input.

I have a 05 here with only of Al's flashes that is doing the same thing. I dont have a choice for the # above but I think that is bacause its a VIII and not a IX.

Have gone through a few different rom options for a VIII but still only get a bunch of random # in the maps that are not right.

Do I need to keep chosing different rom options till I get the right one or is there some thing else I need to figure out?

I am having the same problem I did as suggested. I then sent my rom via e-mail to get tuned . Mellon said it was scrambled as if it has been tuned before. It is stock 05 VIII. Any thoughts?

We unscramble and unlock all of the maps we tune for our customers when purchasing one of our eflash products.

It's pointing to a wrong def string which is the 'poor mans' way of scrambling a map. It's easy to defeat. There are two maps you need to define via xml and you can change the .hex to point to the correct def. I have the info somewhere that I can try and find. I haven't had to do it for awhile.
