Have you logged the IAT's during WOT? If so.....how high did the IATs get during WOT? With the AEM, one particular run, IATs where 86.6 degs before WOT then, as RPMs rose @ WOT, the IATs peaked at 98.6 degs. That was just run #1....

As i continnued to run the car and things got more heatsoaked.....it got proggresively worse, as i expected.

Oh yeah, forgot to add.....i'm not using the stock snorkel or the provided AEM heathsield currently. I wanted to get a accurate reading of IATs using similar setups as most other open element, hard pipe intake systems people are using, as most don't have heat sheilds or re-use the stock snorkel.

I am, however, intrested to see how much of a difference it will make on IATs once i do install the heathseild and snorkel. But for now, i'm leaving them off because of the aformentioned reasons.

On a Drag run after idling for nearly 3-5 mins before running i saw IAT's 107 Max, that was on 3rd gear before i went to 4th where it started to decrease slightly

Just to correct , the highest ive seen from long idling is 115 or so.
