Dynoflash not working?

I had a reflash from Dynoflash about a year ago but it was way too rich. At the advisement of some of my friends I hooked up an S-AFC II from my DSM and had Axiom in Lakewood, WA lean it out some while on the dyno. I was happy with the numbers but they didn’t seem to lean it out very much/spend any time to get the AFR's right.

Both before and after the dyno the car has run waaay rich. Lots of black carbon up the back of my rear bumper and a big cloud when the car comes on boost 2500-4000 rpm.

Besides eating plugs like candy, the car feels down on power and has started stuttering and hesitating. I can't stand it anymore, so I thought I would ask for some advice on my course of action. Here is what I'm thinking:

a) Buy a wideband 02 and try to tune it myself using the AFC

b) Take it to a shop that knows Evo’s in the Seattle area and have it dyno tuned

c) Try my hand at another reflash

Please, recommendations! Anyone know some good places in the Seattle or surrounding area. I know world one is around here, but don’t really know much about the shop. Also any reflash recommendations?

Thanks in advance for any help guys!

Change option a to be "Buy a wideband O2 and a tactrix cable and use ECUFlash to try to tune it myself" .

If not around here there is JohnBradley or Lucas English (English Racing). Both them can give you a good flash tune and they are both local.

You can try a Tactrix Cable + Ecuflash + Evoscan and another e-flash tuner.
Jestr, TTP, and there are a few more members on the boards willing to do a good e-flash if you do some searching.

yeah jestr tuning for sure via an Eflash with a tactrix cable he wont stop till the flash is right.. I previously had a dynoflash and my Jestr flash out performs it hands down! Also he does both high and low octane and timing maps unlike Dynoflash so if you get bad gas atleast your car wont be destroyed....

mitsu tactrix cable

You will also need microsoft excel or open office to view your logs in a spreadsheet form

+2 on the Mellon tuning.

He will work with you until you both are happy with the tune.

I also agree that you would be best served if you get a wideband.

As mentioned earlier go get the cable, evoscan, and ecuflash.

You will be able to log your car with the evoscan and the ecuflash will give you the ability to load the map that Mellon puts together for you.

Excuse or not, leak can make the mixture rich.
I'd check for it first. Definitely cheaper than buying new flashes every week.

Some you can. If you're in a quiet garage. But you should be using some kind of soap solution to check where stuff connects.
