I hit a peak of 280-285 on stock injectors/cams/turbo @ 25-26psi, tapers to 220 or so by 8k. Running v7 SD.

Hey everyone, I managed to drop my load at least 70%, just enough to keep my load window in a usable range for the stock ROM I still use. It took quite an effort to tune the normal driving areas but I think it's worthwhile in my case. This is what I did:

I gutted and cut out every bit of plastic material in the maf that would otherwise hinder air volume capacity. No honeycomb either. Basically the metered portion of air is underestimating total amount. At 30psi on BBK FULL my load is just 270%

Pretty sure you could have just edited the MAF size parameter to do the same thing.

Yes, but it wasn't done to decrease load%, that was just a symptom. I ported the maf because it is very restrictive to flow.

I hit about 330 running 30 psi with v7 SD. It's all a function of SD setup tables though, so not to meaningful.

pics of your modified maf? what horsepower level are you at? I'm at 700+awhp through the stock maf for what it's worth.

The stock MAF is more a restriction in your case. No pics available but removed the giant screw cap obstruction, cut off a few of the hz meter supports, and shaved here/there.

For what it's worth, if you have an extra MAF laying around it's a little tedious but I bet you'll see improvements.

I thought about attaching the guts to a 4" PVC pipe section, but I might as well go speed density if I'm going to do all of that.

interesting night, I loaded up tephra v7 96530706 and I'm having trouble with load. load cut was disabled successfully and I can log beyond 380 load but when I use the 27926 address for the fuel cut disable I'm not getting more fuel. The previous value in the field was 2ba1 which looked right and now it's 0x0009 same as the fuel cut portion.

I was talking with Fast Freddie on the phone earlier and he did mention something I forgot which was that I was very low of fuel. It very well could just be that the twin pump is sucking air in with the fuel causing the lean condition at peak tq when the fuel shifts back. Unfortunately I ran out of e85 tonight and it's 1.5 hours one way to get more...bah!

anyway, if someone could verify that address for the 380+ load fuel issue I would appreciate it.

That address is correct for fuel load, you can also verify the ipw increasing beyond 380 load in your logs to confirm its working for you.
