It's a BR filter, same as the much lower priced "ebay" filter. Only differences are the top is slightly different and it's white instead of red. The actual filter part and the base are 100% exactly the same.

It looks more like the Blitz filter with the stainless steel on the top (right side in the picture)

Happened to be on 500whp and saw this:

http://www.500whp.com/catalog/produc...oducts_id=2307

Have you seen any of these in real life bryan? Think something like this will work? I don't have the skill to make something similiar and just hoping I can get one of these boxes to fit back with the BR/ebay filter or equivalent

even though this looks like it would take up the space of the differential reservoir...hmmmm

I haven't seen one in real life but I have been wondering the same thing. ACD res might be a tight fit like you said.

Desperate measures:

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...49#post5290749

Failing this I am willing to put up half the price of one if Bryan or someone else will install it and see if:

1) It helps to reduce IATs
2) It will work with the ebay/BR filter.
3) It will work on 05+ with the ACD reservoir in the way

So has it been determined that the apexi filter causes issues with the MAF scaling? I'm wondering if that has anything to do with my rich/lean idling and my random idle rpm surges.

Any thoughts?

I don't think I can with the ETS UICP, can I?

Does anyone know if I would need to rescale the MAF if I had the ETS intake pipe with the Apexi filter? I would assume proper scaling of the MAF would smoothen idle out.

Your fuel trims will tell you if your MAF needs rescaling, at least in the closed loop Hz ranges.
