The factory valve sounds like donald duck under boost.
It holds, but it definitely flutters like nothing else I've ever heard.

It sounds very abnormal and I'd wonder if it is valve flutter or surge.

I have a few blitz BOV's laying around so I threw that on and am venting to atmosphere.

I capped the intake tube.

I tuned tonight and it's pretty solid. No boost taper and no abnormalities. The only issue: it's rather loud.



On a side note:
It never really concerned me before, but I decided to pay attention to when I reach full boost. Between 2900 and 3000 I reach 20psi. I run daily at 21.5.
I love this turbo. Why would anyone ever swap it out?

 

yeah...this blitz thing is way too loud for a daily driver.

I'm scaring the crap out of my neighbors who are out walking their dogs.
