AMS Uicp w/ tial ?
Will my IX run like crap if i use a AMS uicp with the tial bov? I know you shouldnt run vent to atmosphere and that my bov is fine anyway, but i am about to be running cams and alky and plan on running 26psi so i know the IX bov will leak? In terms of leaking and idling will it be ok with a tune?
the IX's BOV is metal so it shouldn't leak. u have a couple choices to prevent your vent to atmosphere BOV from giving u trouble:
1) drive like i do-in the powerband. most people drive their cars like an automatic (shifting early) so they get flutter & stalling problems. i drive 1-2 gears LOWER than the avg person so my Turbo XS RFL has never given me problems.
2) buy the HKS EIDS-helps the ECU cope with the BOV that is VTA.
3) buy a standalone-really not needed unless u r making an elephant sized crapload of power...

ok first of all why do u want t oget the uicp.. really doesnt do anything as for horsepower, yes it eliminates bends for a shorter run.. but nothing really noticable..... and if you run that tial bov that is really going to hurt your car as for running right.. plus tial bov are usualy only used for cars that are running really high boost... as for your diverter valve it may or may not leak, some hold up to 28psi some 25. if ur worried bout it leaking just get a forge rs and you will be set..

ok well i already have the perrin uicp and as fasr as power im sure i didnt get any but it does spool a little faster. im not worried about having kool sounds or anything i just dont want my valve to leak on me when im racing using alky or race gas running 25-27 psi. So how much will the forge hold?
