eehhh, not really. Stock two step will only build like 7psi, and you have to rev really high to do that.

anti-lag lets you build more boost while also being at a lower RPM.

So this way your clutch as actually slipping less.

If you go to a track with really good prep you will find that you often bog of the stock two step - even with slipping the clutch a bit.

Hi all,

Thanks for your kind words

With regards to anti-lag that will be something I look at in the future, the biggest problem I have with ALS is the risk of exploding engine parts. I want my mods to be as engine friendly as possible so ALS will take a lot of time testing etc etc.

Cheers
Dave

dudical26, If you have a IX, try going to your "vvt map1" and raising from 5500-7500 revs to 15 or so up to 90 load. this gave me about 14-15psi. Experiment with this, set to your rev limit, a little.

Just get a launch interface it is made by gizzmos or somehting like that lol, pulls timing for launch and also works for no-lift shifting.

I'm definitely getting this mod. Always glad to pay for ingenuity and fast results. Throw up a link once you get your vendorship.

well I think I will be bumping up the TPS sensitivity, 70 is too low.

I gave the car a fang on the road home tonight and I hit the NLTS by accident... Sounds great! but doesn't look too cool :P

so yes TPS > 85% I think will be the deal

It's great to have someone like Dave available for those 'custom' jobs. Dave, you're to be commended for your work.

I just received my mods for NLTS from Tephra. Wow, fast work. Thanks for the quick response. I've already modded this 'daily' file to be used for the Import Face-Off tomorrow. Should be a good test for 'drag' conditions. I'll post results. I'm leaving the defaults in this new 'race' map so we have a base line, but they should be good to go. Thanks again Dave.

I am seriously thinking about putting a spring or something on the top clutch switch...

when I get ready to shift I put my foot ever so slightly on the clutch - this is enough for NLTS to kick in which is a tad embarrasing :P hahaha

I figure a spring will give me some more clutch length before NLTS kicks in... otherwise it works great - just dont be timid with it

oh and im thinking of setting my TPS threshold to 95 so that you have to really conciously drive to enable NLTS...

Do you think its too sensitive or is it just your driving style? I would love to test it out as I do a lot of flat foot shifting and would like to see if this works how it has worked in my other cars that had it.
