Thumbs up

This mod works beautifully! Thumbs up for tephra for simply awesome work. Ive attached a data log i took with evoscan about 10 min ago using the NLTS feature with my rom on a gt30r turbo and maft pro on speed density. The first thing i noticed on my datalog comparison is that the timing does not raise back to 38 in between shifts which smooths things out ALOT. As well as the fact you never lift off the throttle theres no chance of getting knock during shifts as in a speed density conversion theres an option of TPS enrichment sense the Map sensor measures air after it enters the intake manifold there can sometimes be a lean spot on shifts due to air entering the motor to quickly. Obviously TPS enrichment takes care of that problem by adding fuel upon throttle position opening. So this feature mixes perfectly with the NLTS as theres never a lift thus all around smooth shifting while still maintaining ALOT of boost i previously lost with a big turbo like this in between shifts. It feels as though it allows me to shift much faster, though it may feel strange to some of you "flatfoot" shifting it truley is alot easier once you get used to it as well as being easier on your drive train. This mod is definantly worth the money 10x over again especially for any of you big turbo guys to keep your turbo spooled up between shifts. Ill be taking my car to the track Friday to make a couple runs using NLTS and a couple not using it to show any ET and trap speed changes which im positive there will be. The valet mode that i got to try out in my rom also works beautiful you can set the time you hold your throttle with the key "on" motor not running and once the CEL flashes your in valet mode which only lets the motor rev to your preset rpm until you repeat the process to turn it off. That feature works awesome being on the run if you blow something out and need a tow to a shop you dont want beating your car after repair, you wont have to worry about not having your laptop to reflash a lower limit before they get there hands on your pride and joy just turn valet mode on. And of course the almighty knock CEL light mod which is flawless. If anyone wants any specific boost information(drop amount) as well as AFR between shifts i will be posting a more detailed log as i get more time to mess with it tomorrow and log more variables.

At the moment I'm not exactly sure - probably around the $15-25 mark.

I think $15 for a pre-patched ROM with the 3 features built in and then an optional additional $10 to patch YOUR specific ROM if you want that done..

are you still working on becoming a vendor? $15-25 seems more than fair for all of your hard work.

its a secret lol nah.... The valet rev limiter so you dont need to flash when handing over your pride and joy to a garage - or even parking it overnight in a dodgey area...

hmm that gives me an idea - maybe I'll have 2 rev limitters valet and security... ie car wont rev past 1000 until security has been turned off..

edit: yes I am trying to get my vendorship ..

You're on. Put me down for

1. NLTS with anti-lag
2. Launch Control
3. Knock Flash
4. 2-byte load

I'll need an updated definition file as well

Send me your PayPal

Sounds good - the price seems reasonable.

Maybe the next thing you can work on is anti-lag style two step. So instead of fuel cut for the stationary rev limiter you retard ignition up to -35 degrees which will allow you to build a lot of boost of the line

Your car needs to have the antilag hardware. It seems that the Gulf-spec GSRs do not have this, but the RS and GT models have this.

nope, only the IX RS and GT specs. The GT spec is practically an RS with ABS+EBD, Enkeis and Brembos and no Recaros.

The chassis on the GSR spec is not registered with the FIA and cannot be used for GrpN rallies. Anyway, the GSR does not have the anti-lag hardware.
