Strange knock issues....VERY STRANGE
Here it is. EDM 05 EVO 8 stock. 99 oct RON. Knock sum goes up to "5" from 3000 to 4500 rpm, then "4" from 4500 to 5000rpm.. and end up with 1-2 at 7000 on STOCK MAP. I've loaded Ecutek map already tried on EVO 8 (05) tuned for 1.6 bars
and guess what? - 12 knock sum @ 5000+rpm (engine load 240 tapers to 220)

I'd help you but I dont know what 99 RON is in RON/MON which is the US standard.....I assume it's close to 93 octane.
What's the timing looking like? I assume it's yanking some, post the log up IMO.

I have Innovate LM-1.
I've disabled lean spool. Set the spool AFR around 13 and then 11.3~11.2 to redline. I've tried both lean spool map that strikes 12 and tapers to 10.7 @ redline (ecutek fuel map)
IDC are ok @ 78%
So I ended up with 13 advance@ 6800rpm with KnockSum=0

^ How is that stock map if you modified lean spool, afr and timing???
In any case RON 99 is 94 PON. But there's also gas quality and oxyginated gas that has 10% ethanol in it. We use oxy gas here, which is better against knock. Also i would doubt that ukraine's gas is any good quality wise.

Nobody on EvoM has a crystal ball. You need to be much more specific about the car you're dealing with (you said stock 05...is there such a thing?), and what it's doing. Post a log showing what you're seeing. Include wideband AFR data and 2-byte load. Also, feel free to post up your timing, AFR, and VVT maps. Don't forget to include how much boost you're running.
