Getting an error with EcuFlash
After turning the car on, connecting the cable, and hitting start datalogger on evoscan, I get this error...
Info: Waiting for INIT Response...
Info: Initializing At 5 baud...
Info: Initialization Complete...
Info: Waiting for INIT Response...
Info: Connection successful...
Error: Unable to open COM1
The system cannot find the file specified
Info: Datalogger Ended.
What is going on?
Thanks

Go to Device Manager under "Ports(COM & LPT)": and match the COM # to the software. At times if its not an onboard serial and you are using a OBDII USB conversion cable it will take another COM #, especially if you connect and disconnect often and also have other types of usb conversion cables(eg. USB>SERIAL). Usualy would be COM6. Anyway might have tried this but just making sure....

Thanks, I'll try this tomorrow and see if it helps.
I figured I wouldn't have to do this because the Tactrix cable is a straight up USB cable, there is no usb-serial adapter in the mix.

Make sure the wideband O2 sensor option isn't checked if you are't logging one. Thats my problem whenever I forget to plug in my wideband USB cable. Tactrix cables are 'auto find' so you don't need to select a COM, thats why it loads the tactrix files so it knows exactly what to look for with 100% compatibility.

Yeah, under items to Data Log I had selected Wideband A/F Ratio, I have one but just didn't want to because I dont have my USB-Serial adapter yet...
Thanks for this, I'll try it and let you know!
