wondering if this timinig is too low for cruise/low loads area or is it ok ?

Way too low and hopefully that's an E85 map due to the high timing. If that's a pump gas map = no bueno.

Cruise area's should be high 30's or low 40's FWIW. What's your peak load you're logging?

not E85, it's on 98 RON
hitting 240 load, @ ~ 1.1 bar
its an Evo3

what can cause that low cruise timing ?

So you're hitting about 3-5* at peak load and hitting 14-16* up top? If you don't have knock, then more power to ya, just seems like a bit more than what normal pump gas can take

I see you're running low boost- that's probably helping with controlling the knock.

hitting 2-3* at 3500-3700 on peak load and yes, 14-16 up to top

xperiencing knock mainly on spool-up and at low loads

I've been helping Stunt with his map for a week or two. That's what I did as soon as he sent me this map to look over.

I don't know how or why you put your timing map like that. I sent you a rom that was decent for your setup. All you had to do some logging to tune it to your load ranges.

new e85 tune

ok so here is my first atempt at a e85 map. this is based off my 91octane map and i have not yet run this on my car, i want some opinions first!

Not familiar with tuning E85 but it looks alright to me, might want to back down 1 or 2 degrees at peak torque to start with just to be safe.

check your timing at idle with a timing light
