Lowering Coolant temps

My coolant temperatures are usually between 82 and 88 deg C. I was wondering if there were any table in ECUflash that I could use to lower them a bit.

For example, I'd like to make the thermostat open at 82 and close back at 75 deg C, or something similar.

Does anyone know if that is possible? Also, what are all the IC Relay tables in my Ecuflash maps for?

Thanks.

The thermostat is a physical device, not electronic and not controlled by the ECU.

i was wondering about sort of the same thing. But i was wondering is there any way to turn the fans on earlier using ecuflash. That way you could force the car to lower its own temp.

well my cars not an evo. It is a regular lancer but iv put an evo turbo and a lightly built 4g64 into it. I tune it using ecu flash. I want it to run a little cooler then it does now. It would be really usefull.

This stuff is good. In my Prelude with an upgraded radiator, it would take me a couple of miles of driving before my temps got up to "operating temperature". It's used for Motorcycles http://www.engineice.cc/products.html

RA's run around 80-90 degrees C. SO won't really gain anything.....just get a thermastat from a auto parts store for about 180-190 so about 70-80 C. 88C is fine it is when i starts to peak over 100 is when you should start to worry.

The price for them are around 20-50 dollars......generally speaking. I haven't had to buy one for RA or any lancer so i couldn't tell you price....exactly...

He meant RalliArt as in the upgraded one RalliArt has designed for the EVO, not the actual Lancer RalliArt thermostat.

Something like this:
