No matter how much timing I add or fuel that I remove, E85 has not caused knock during cruise. In fact as the AFR is pushed leaner than stoich, the burn rate goes down (same is true for gasoline), and timing has to be further increased to make best use of the combustion event. Bottom line is that monitoring knock is not a useful method for trying to estimate AFR during lean cruise with E85 (or gasoline).

I'd like to find a wideband that is/has a gage. By gage I mean something that properly fits in a gage pod. The only one close is the AEM UEGO. But, by
this thread it appears to be less plug-N-play and more plug-N-pray.

The LC-1 is compatible with Innovate's XD-16 digital gauge. It's a shallow depth but does fit a standard gauge pod as well. Also, it's analog out channel can power any gauge that accepts a 5v signal.
Dynotune makes a nice, simple wideband set-up. It uses a *gasp* LC-1 and this:

This is what I use in my car, an LC-1 and the display above. It's really nice because it only displays a number, no gages or anything else un-needed.
It's a real simplistic set-up.

Are the digital gages actually readable? Meaning do the numbers bounce around too much?
The original LM-1 had little or no dampening and the numbers were simply not readable. Everything to the right of the decimal was just a blur.
Do all of these log to EVOscan with ease?

thy all run off the LC-1 so yes... and to respond to your other remark about AEM's i run an AEM and log it regularly, if people are too mentally inept to solder 2 wires together you shouldnt shoot down a product
As I stated in the other thread ... the PDF instruction for adding the logging cable to the UEGO are incorrect ... they show the wrong serial plug and the diagram needs to be mirrored for correct wiring. I agree ... no fault of the product itself.
I run the Zeitronix gauge that Bryan posted up. I can switch between my EGT's, AFR's, Lambda values and boost levels with the push of a button. You can also have the outer LED ring be one item (boost,AFR,etc..) and the digital screen in the center be another. I like it.
