I'm trying to save my 2-byte load for 96940011 in notepad, however, I keep getting this message:

"Cannot create theC:\Programfiles\openecu\ecuflash\rommetadata\mi tsubishi\evo\96940011.xml file.
Make sure the path and file name are correct."

I was able to do it on my desktop running xp but, can't save on my laptop running vista.

Any suggestions?

 

You have to set the security lower on that xml file. Go to windows explorer, right click on the file, go to properties and security. Make sure you have the file as full access rights. Windows Vista has waaay too much security crap.

 

You have a space in mitsubishi. Or is that just the way it copied.
