thought it refered to check engine light...that jsut says cel...not the full written out servige engine which is fine..but anywho

i did do a few pulls today, seem like i wasn't gettin that high knock the faster i shifted with the NLTS....i think i was more concious of if it was working than gettin my ****s up to par which caused knock...but im gonna do more tomorrow to see on way to work

The NLTS knock is generally caused by a sudden change in timing advance. You likely have much higher timing values in the lower load area referenced on the shift. You can reduce timing advance in that area to help reduce the knock. If this is the cause, it's not really detonation causing the knock, so you aren't hurting the engine .. but you are going slower since timing is still being pulled.

^^ now that you mention it...i think the advance was like in 30's for that section before the switch...actually i'll get a log up on a 2nd to 3rd to 4th pull...but i think u maybe right.
