hey j direct boost control is the way for any boost level. You have the gm 3 port, all you need now is the jdm map sensor to make it direct psi control. I'll hook your rom up like I did steven's. Once we get it dail in, its like that old saying "Set it & Forget it". I love ecu boost, even though I'm using target load instead of psi but I using Mrfred direct load (which is the shizzle). With the weather chaning alot with spring coming around, I always get the same boost. Boost error is doing its job LOL, with my mbc 27ish during the day 32 @ night.

Yeah so lets get mine dialed in. The difference between load based and target PSI is night and day. I'd never go back to a load based set-up.

i have noticed that if you leave the top correction at 0, then if you fall to much below your target boost it will never add onto the wgdc... I suspect if you dont want boost to ramp up quickly then set the top correction to +1 or +0.5 or something...

Yeah, using 0 in top correction keeps the WGDC from getting racheted up during aggressive part throttle driving or during spoolup at WOT.

Yes, I suggest using a GM 3port in that application though.

Yes but smaller changes in WGDC will make larger changes in boost with the external.
