Same with me Ted. Worked on the fuel trims a bunch (also raised idle rpms and idle iscv values - nothing helps) - moved everything and the trims seemed to be correct - a few days later, I throw another 172 code. I am trying the front o2 sensor since my afr at idle goes from 12.5:1 to 10.8:1 - it never hits stoich. And the stall out issue happens as the o2 feedback starts climbing (getting richer) and then suddenly goes to 0 - that's when it wants to stall out. I have a feeling that my leaded gas (although I've used less than 20 gallons total) combined with the non-stock front o2 sensor are the problem. At least I hope so - I'll let you know when my new one gets here and installed.

Oh, and my wideband went out yesterday too - stupid sensors.

Max-

I too am having the same issues you are and am throwing that POS 172 code as well. Did you end up finding a solution to your issue? Replace the front o2 or what?

Cheers-
E

I'm waiting on it to come in - I'll let you know. It's worth messing with your scaling/latency a bit, but mine just shift so much that something is wrong - and my AFR's are so bad during closed loop that it has to be something more serious.

A bit of the same - went through my second wideband (bosch from the innovate lc1) due to running 110 leaded. I'm about done playing with that gas and have my new sensor in the garage ready to install, so after I come off from the dyno tomorrow I'm going to burn of this gas and start filling it with 101. I'll be in long beach next weekend so sometime after that I should be installing it. However based on the fact my widebands keep dying, that really makes me think the lead destroyed my bosch replacement front o2 sensor - and that's the reason I want to get all that leaded gas out before I install the much more expensive oem sensor

Went back to unleaded race gas and all of the problems went away - and my continuing 172 code (even after tuning it out) that keeps coming back went away along with my wideband started working again. I am all done with leaded gas - too many headaches.

I used to have similar stalling issue like you with my gt35r kit. Let go of the throttle a little quickly and the idle will drop down to 400-500rpm and most of the times will stall.
I tried most of the things you did like scaling the injectors (880cc), bump idle in the flash, bump idle using the idle screw, bump idle timing, changed latencies... none work. Even have some shops looked at and not much help. Finally, playing with my APS BOV and the problem went away. The thing that still puzzle me is that the bov used to work before but I guess some how the screw got loose a little day by day.
Anyway, I post it here in hope it may help you out.

I'm still dealing with this issue, and nothing seems to resolve it.

Just a suggestion however, you may want to revamp your ISCV lookup table as described here:

Begin at post #206 and go from there. It didn't fix the issue, but it seems to have made a mild improvement otherwise.
