Hello Tephra.
sorry for asking, but can you anticipate when this ROM will be patched?

Thanks for the info

Perfectly fine to rescale your load or RPM axis'.

I think alot of us will still want NLTS on the base map. If it is really an issue for you set the threshold a bit higher (I use 100, rather than the 50 that Jack recommends and have never had an issue).

In any case, you shouldn't be resting your foot on the clutch pedal. Its a bad habit that should probably be corrected on the user side and not the car side

Know exactly what you mean, I dont rest my foot on the clutch i know its very bad it comes straight off .. but sometimes my clutch foot is a bit quicker then the acccel foot and starts to push in before the accel is totally off and it jerks.... I have mine set to 98% I can easily adjust and learn to wait on the clutch foot but i thought it might be a handy feature... wasnt asking it to be done just for me but more so a extra feature that could be good.

Was just thinking it might be easy to set a tick box for activate NTLS on ALT MAPS SOOO if NTLS was not enabled when ALT MAPS was enabled and the tickbox to say enable ntls was set then it would enable ntls as well... however if ntls was already enabled then it would do nothing if you get what i mean. Just a thought, and i supose same backwords once ALT is disabled NTLS also dissables with it, if it was previosly disabled.

been testing 88590015 in my car since it has been released and things are working good except when you come out of load during nlts it bugs out and reverts to the other rev limit.

i havent tested alt maps yet though. only nlts and valet.

question for tephra though. would it be possible to, instead of toggling valet mode on and off via 100% throttle before ign. could it be changed to toggle NLTS?

once again tephra, thanks for everything and how much hard work youve put into this.

My car did NOT like the V5. I copied everything over to the new rom. Got 25 counts of knock and 12.9 AFR. Something was amiss so I reverted back to the previous version and everything is candy.

I'll mess with it more when my tune is done on the current version and try again with V5.

Cheers-

A big thanks to tephra! I'd just flash 90550001-v5 into my e7 JDM (previously 98640014). Bump into some problem, NTLS TPS Threshold not allow any input or display any value. Here's the screenshot.

Did it happen to everyone or just me, or it's a known issue?

You have a missing throttle percentage scaling, my ROM was the same. The scaling is *100/255, 16 bits.

Thanks JCS, the scaling for tps work! Bump into another trouble, the car jerk at 4000rpm, feels like rpm cut. When compare my old jdm boost limit vs tephra, the scaling is only set to 4000rpm. Anyone have a better scaling for boost limit? Anyone had similar problem rev above 4000rpm?

Last edited by sub7; Apr 15, 2008 at 11:49 PM. Reason: Rectified rpm cut, not boost cut
