I will probably do a seperate 88840016 and 17 because the ROM's are quite different!
can some quick sole please tell me if the above two ROMs/cars have ICS?

More than just a few map changes like 94170014 -> 15.
Well 17 looks like it has ICS code in it... perhaps the switch just isn't wired in... Usually when the ICS isn't there then the code isn't either
Let me look at the 16 ROM
edit - 16 ROM has ICS code as well!?!?!

Well I can put up the V5 for 17 and if people want to try it on 16 then its upto them..

I have little tested the modified 88840017 as update of 88840016; the car starts, it seems ok - but I have not tried on street.
Auto valet mode works fine; rear O2 sim seems ok, I must disconnect WB from ECU to test it properly.
NTLS and knock thresold will be tested next
Alt maps will take longer, I had no luck with ECU pins in Europe...

im actually using a bit of 14 (or maybe 16) gauge cable, fits snug in the hole and the ecu pin pushes into the end of it not stripped just cut straight and held in with tie's

Tested NTLS and CEL on knock. All ok
For Alt maps I will wait the shipment from Jack.
Here in Italy the 88840016/17 are roms for GSR model (Recaro seats, BBS, no ICS, etc) while 88580014 is reserved for RS model (ICS and more rally-ready ). At the moment I have not found the 88840016 on RS and I suppose it is the same in EDM market (maybe with dfferent model name).
I think you can safely remove ICS stuff from ROM; maybe someone could add the hardware, but I don't have schematics to say how it is simple or difficult.
