Dave,

ROM 88570008 works perfectly, tried and TESTED! Notably UK cars have no hardware to support NLTS.

Very pleased!

Top Man!

Please update 1st page.

Regards
SK

Luck, luck, luck is: no knock and safe engine.

Tried to go back with map versions and the problem is with V5, I don't know why.
AFRMAP is costant and follow AFR map, but InjPulseWidth goes mad.
Note: Lean spool is off.

Tephra, MP your email address, I will attach a couple of logs and maps, if needed.
Any update on this issue Tephra ?
I had no time for testing 0017 V5 so far...

no dont use #3 (BCLS) there should already be a alt bdel table, you can just relabel and rescale that to match the boost tables mrfred has defined...

Dave, pls tell us the faults you've found on various patches. It is educational.

Most of my mistakes with patches have been pointers and variable values.

no problems

for 88840017 there is two ROM locations that references the injector scaling, one at 0x16ecc, i accidentally overwrote 0x16eec...

so yeah - big mistake, my fault

kinda just reiterates why everything needs to be checked and tested properly

nope

It's enabled 2500rpm to 7000rpm.

I am hoping allupo will look after the 88840014 xml for the next ecuflash release

88840017 V5.5 is ok; I miss the altmap test for now.

Tephra, why are you speaking about 88840014?

Ok, here's my turn. I've been reading tephra mod v2, v4 and now v5, great work there! and so I am testing 90550001 ntls and alt map, both won't work as it supposed. I rather leave dave with his pile of "art work" and get some help here. Let's look at ntls first...

I think ntls might got to do with clutch switch and I did test ntls with 20%, 30% and 50% of load, 20% tps, 0km/h and 1000rpm drop. When I rev to 20% tps, my 2byteload is reading 30+ and the rpm drop 1000rpm unexpected. My foot is not resting or even touch the clutch pedal. So I increase tps to 95%, speed 30km/h and 100 load, then go for a run. At 3rd gear about 120 load, I throttle down 100% with my foot away from the clutch, rpm drop immediately. The clutch position switch is 2inch away from the stopper.. (pic can be found here). I dont think there's any other switch/sensor on the clutch? Should I bring up my clutch position? What's the criteria where ntls engaged? From my test, I believe either one of tps/load/speed AND clutch switch/sensor will make NTLS engaged.

I don't think the evo 7 has 2 clutch switchs on it, the only 1 there is the 1 for starting the car with, and you need a different clutch switch to use with nlts.

However I am not 100% on that, best to wait for someone else to confirm, I do know NLTS works on this rom as barryc on here has wired up the switch to his evo5 and it works on his car using this rom.

I also use this rom on my Evo 6, and I use the external switch for ALT map's and again can confirm it works from the ADC0F connection on the ecu, again barryc has wired his car up to use the autoICS switch and his map switching works 100% from that too.

Have you got the correct setting in the tephra mod options table for the Alt Maps ?

i.e 1 if your using an external swith connected to ADC0F or 2 if you want to use auto ICS.
