Dave, tried to send you DMA version of V5 for your ECU but your email is bouncing attachments.

www.banks.myzen.co.uk/88580014.zip contains the public V5 you posted for your ECU, modified with DMA patches. I also attach a new xml which just has the alt inj scaling moved as previously discussed.

The exe and three xml files are the PC app. Source available if you wish.

If I've made no mistakes then the engine should start and log normally using
Evoscan etc. It should also log using my app and also be able to live map
the RAM/alt maps.

Let me know how you get on.

138 - DMA end interrupt vector
32c - transmit end interrupt vector
48800 - setup DMA
48900,48a20 - DMA end and transmit end interrupt handlers
47f00 - DMA timeout routine
47f80 - cold reset routine - copy ROM to RAM

There are a few NOPs and cmp/variable changes in the IO routines as well
that I haven't listed.

are you going to use altmaps?

if not - disable it (ie set to 0) and then leave the fuel/ign/boost maps as is..

Because its an xml mod, not a rom mod. Just add the code to your .xml file for your romID and call it a day.

Fundamentally, its a ROM mod and not an xml mod. Yes some code has to be added to the xml file, but its only to facilitate changing the ROM.

Note: if you are using this with mrfred's direct boost control mod, simply change boost table #3 from this:

<table name="Baseline Boost #3 (BCLS)" category="Turbo" (ecu specific form here out)

to this:

<table name="Alternate Boost" category="Mods"

I can't wait to assemble and install my harness and get this map switching patch on my v15 car. No more lugging the notebook to the track ... sweet! I'm also looking forward to the 2-stage knock light.

If I haven't said it enough, thanks again fr all of the work you guys put in to this.
