Any update on 90550001? I've got an 8 ECU flashed with 90550001 installed in my Evo 6 TME but am still getting the P0135 O2 heater DTC. Will this v5 patch address this?

Or, does anyone know where in the ROM to disable this code? I'm not looking for the Tephra patch functionality if I can just disable it some other way.

I had a problem with 96530006.

Got a CEL for "idle control failure" or something like that, can't remember the exact code off the top of my head.

I'm going to see if I can replicate it on my personal evo here soon...

You know, I've gotten that as well (on 96530006 vs. 96940011), but it only started happening after putting in the 880s, and I was fighting some idle issues with them initially.

I haven't thrown that code since I got the injectors dialed in properly.

Well this Evo had stock injectors and putting it back to 96940011 didn't bring the code back so...

logic, did you copy over your ISCV and Idle Stepper values from 96940011 to your 96530006 rom or did you keep the (different) values in the 96530006 rom?

i would think you leave the stock ones alone - there shouldn't really be a need to change them..

The Idle control malfunction code is usually thrown when your setup is not allowing the ECU to maintain idle with around 20 steps on the stepper ((without AC). If it is far away - then it throws this code. Log your idle steps at idle when engine warmed up and no further load (no AC, no turning the wheel - servo).

What are the differences between 94170008 and 94170014 (or 15)?

14 and 15 were factory P0300 code fixes. So you can use either in place of your 08 rom.

Is/has 94170015 - V5 tested to be good. I need the rear 02 patch so I can log my NGK wideband

Sorry if this has been answered already, but 2 byte load is still logged through Evoscan even when using this mod right? Does it still show up in Ecuflash?

Also, I am copying the new XML code right over the old V3 patch stuff right? And removing the timing maps, etc

Yea just make sure you have the code in you XML for the 3D MUT Table and edit the appropriate values for 2-Byte Load

Is the patch (88590015) compatible with vista? The reason I'm asking is because I'm unable to save the file after cutting/pasting. I was able to do it on my friends XP version though. Any ideas or suggestions on what I need to do would be greatly appreciated.
