Where did you ground the LC-1?
The LC-1 is grounded to the lug on the thick sheet metal left side (driver's side right foot) of the center console.

The stereo is grounded to the lug on the thick sheet metal right side (passenger's side left foot) of the center console.

Where are you pulling power?

Power for the LC-1 is taken from the cigarette lighter.

Power for the head unit is taken from the stock radio harness.

Power for amps are pulled directly from the battery.

Amps are grounded directly to the drive shaft housing.

Seems not too different than my setup. My LC-1 is grounded on the right side of the console sheet metal. I'm pulling power from the fuse panel by the driver's left leg. What's the physical location of the LC-1 relative to the HU and the amps? There is one post on the LC-1 forum where a guy mentions detecting quite a bit of noise from the LC-1.

The simplest way to eliminate a ground loop is to create a direct path between grounding points. If you take a piece of wire (any size is fine since no large amount of current will be drawn through it) and connect one end to the spot you grounded the LC-1 and the other end connected to the grounding point for the radio, you've eliminated the ground loop possibility. The biggest culprit for electromagnetic interference is a bad ground connection.

I think I might have found something for the ZT-2 users. The ZT-2 uses a polynomial calibration for what I believe the analog output. Now using this type of formula needs 3 constants which are"

a=0.627
b=0.4574
c=9.7758

And this is the formula
y = ax2 + bx + c

So my best guess is the formula would be:
AFR=((0.627)x*2)+((0.4574)x)+9.7758

If someone could check this since my ZT-2 is in to get upgraded right now.

I'll compare the actual analog formula and your analog formula in excel and see how they match up.

I intend to setup my lc1 where yellow cable goes into my Apexi turbo timer (support narrowband 02) to show realtime afr on the run. Then when I need datalog, I will use the serial out that goes to db9 cable. Anyone have this similar setup?

u have two analogue outputs on the LC1- i suggest you wire up one to the ECU and one to the TT...

forget about serial, its a whole world of problems...

So, I got this mod working thanks to all of you guys. I need help on how to calibrate it properly for my Daytona Sensors Wego2. the scaled formula it gives me for 0-5v output is this : AFR=10+(2xVout).

in use it reads about 1 full point higher than the display on wego unit. anyone that is good at these things want to take a crack on how to get it to read close or exact? the formula i am using in evoscan 2.1 is this: 0.05859*x+7.95

Thanks!

The biggest culprit for electromagnetic interference is a bad ground connection.
Well finally tracked down my noise problem and indeed it was a ground connection as stated by Jack. The kicker is that it was not any of the grounds related to the LC-1 or the stereo. The bad ground was not deliberate.

The chassis of the amp was screwed down to the floor under the seat and not isolated. This screw was loose and created a bad ground between the amp and the chassis. Somehow this cased the interference I was hearing. I actually can't believe I found it. Isolated the mounting screw and problem solved. LC-1 is working perfectly . Thanks guys.

Assuming 255 = 5V in your setup, then your forumla would be:

.03921*x+10

would that be the same as x/254*10+10 ? this is what i changed it to and seems to read close if not 100% right on.
