i was wondering where i could get a program for this just to log my car and check it out. one of my friends was telling me u get it from the evoscan website. im just looking for a free program if anyone could help me out that be awesome thanks alot!

ok lets try to get this to work now

 

so last night i downloaded the Mitsulogger v1.6 Beta 3 and open it up and on the bottom it was saying "oops no device found?" i hook up my tactics cable and everything and it isnt finding it for some odd reason. and then it asks for the wideband on top? wat should i put for that im running stock ecu. i just want to log my car and see if there is any knock. according to al there is. i want to see for my self. so if someone could help me out that would be great!

 

did you install ECUFLash first? I would install it and save a copy of your stock rom. I installed that first, then installed mitsulogger and it all works fine. I believe installing ECUFlash will load the driver for the cable.

install ecuflash... That will allow you to download your map and has the software for the tactrix cable.

which one do i download the Reflashing software, or Tuning software? im new to this lol just trying to learn and get this to work. when i download it do i put it in the mitsulogger folder?

once install those and connect your tactrix cable mitsulogger should exit demo mode and then you should be able to log if it still asks for which wideband your using uncheck the box thats marked "external wideband" once youve logged your first couple of runs use microsoft excel to open the logs look for the column labled "Knock sum" this is the knock that al is referring too if you see anything but '0's in this column then your car is indeed knocking


you will want to be driving around 2500rpmsin 3rd gear then click the start logging button take the car to whatever rpm you will normally shift at then click the stop logging button,

comes to conclusion that i finally got it to work. the sad part is al lied to me and told me i was having terrible knock when i just logged my car and there is no knock im going to post up the log and it would be nice for someone to help me out and explain some stuff to me and to tell me if there is really a knock or not or anything they could help me with. al told me i had a bad knock and this was retarding my timing and i could make any power. i made like 350 on pump and 450 on race some crapt like that. i was all pissed off. then someone told me to go log my car and to see if there is really a knock. that is wat i did and comes to conclusion in my eyes there isnt but i would like for u guys to help me out.i got alot of imformation too if u would like to see just let me know like wen i downloaded the map from the ecu. i got all those #'S in color. im a newb to this stuff so dont hate on me lol. but here is the log.
