ADC Inputs - Which ones can we use and how can we use them
I wanted to make a thread that would list all the ADC inputs that we are able to use and how we can use them.
I have listed the ADC inputs (taken from mrfred) which I think we can take over. If you can help me to make a list of what each input will accept (ex: 0-5v) and what would be a logical usage for that input.
This way we can figure out what kind of additional sensors or inputs we can log and each user can determine which sensors are best for their needs. I for one would like to be able to log my Aquamist flow sensor voltage, wideband AFR, and have Alt Maps so I would need to use 3 ADC channels.

A few comments:
- All the ADC inputs in your list except that fuel temperature ADC are standard 0-5 V ADC inputs.
- The fuel temperature ADC input is set up differently than the other inputs and is only useful for logging a thermisistor type sensor (e.g., a GM air temp sensor or an EGT sensor if its thermisistor type).
- Taking over the fuel tank MDP (fuel tank pressure) ADC input will require disabling the evap OBD-II routines. There is no way to simulate that signal like I've been able to do for other sensors.
- One of the O2 sensor ADC inputs needs to be reading an O2 sensor of some sort.

So then I could use the rear 02 sensor input for my wideband, remove both stock 02 sensors. Use the front 02 sensor input for my meth flow sensor. Use the ADC F0 for alt map and use the fuel temp sensor for AIT. And leave the fuel pressure sensor intact untill someone is able to figure out how to disable that test.
If I didn't care about passing emisions I could use the fuel pressure sensor right? I have already removed my EVAP solenoid and the EVAP canister so I already won't pass that test, lol.

Yep, everything you said is doable. I'm working on a patch to simulate the front O2 NB signal using a WB signal being fed into the rear O2 ADC input. I keep saying it will be done soon.

That sounds great as it will improve the accuracy of the afr readings the ECU sees and it will also free up another ADC. Do you think you will look into tricking the ready test for the EVAP system so that we can get yet another ADC input?

Like I said before, there is no way to simulate the fuel tank pressure sensor. Only solution is to disable evap OBD-II.

I did my research on ADC inputs, very helpful information here on evolutionm but I still have couple of questions:
I've converted my 2G Talon to use EVOVIII ECU so there are several inputs which were not used on Talon as there are simply less sensors. Is above list in OP of the ALL inputs which can be used for external sensors (0-5V) on EVO ECU or just a "inputs we might want to use or free"?
I've already used Rear O2 sensor input for Wideband, planning to use Fuel Tank Pressure input for Fuel Pressure sender (0-100psi sensor with 0-5V output) and I do have MAP sensor installed in place of MDP. So would like to know which ones I still can use for other project bits
Also a question on MUT table- if we are referring an input as ADC_0F, which PIN on the EVOVIII is this? And if I want to log it with EvoScan- do I need to adjust something in the MUT table itself (EcuFlash) or just go and create a log item in EvoScan with "83" and correct formula? I have all EVAP system eliminated and disabled...

Hey,
I want to use my PLX EGT analogous output signal (0-5v) to put in the ECU. Then I want to log the EGT with evoscan. I already use the rear o2 input. My car uses the evap. I’m also using the fuel temperature for AIT Temp. Which input can I use for my EGT? I‘m using an Evo 8 ECU with tephra v7 96530706
